customer has home warranty, but they were unable to come for nearly 2 weeks. Found a bad igniter and replaced with a universal hot rod igniter. Tested system and everything running. The blower motor has a rubbing noise, but I could not see any issues. this may be a sign of failure. Thank you for choosing certified and we look forward to being able to serve you for future project should you have a need.

For this job, we worked on fixing the wiring in a outlet box in the living room. previous electrician did not pigtail wires. Instead, he backstabbed the outlets and used a jumper from one outlet to another. one of the neutrals coming in was loose due to the backstab method which caused the rest of the circuit to not work. we fixed the wiring and reconnected the outlets. Everything is working properly. left estimates to redevice the house to avoid this issue in the future.

Tech arrived to no heat call for basement system. System is approximately 2/3 years heat pump system servicing downstairs. On arrival found low voltage blown. Checked all thermostat wiring inside and out, and found no signs for direct shorts or any wires touching metal or ground. Replaced fuse and watched operations. System did not replicate scenario after replacing fuse. Found outdoor temperature sensor partially pinched in fan area, moved to chase where wiring is designated. Contacter is within specs at this time. Notified partial discoloring at thermostat. System does not have water protection safeties up to TE’s standards. Verified heat strips are operational. Brought recommendations to customer. Customer agreed to sign up for HomeCare on two systems in home. Tech replaced customer provided customers thermostat. No warranty on thermostat outside of warranty. Flood protection waiver noted. Replaced 16x20x1 filter for basement and replaced customer supplied 20x20x1 upstairs. Thank

For this job we’ve rented leak detection services in the front yard of the home. Homeowner showed up after we arrived on scene. There is water present in the front yard however, once we are finally able to isolate the water main service at the meter and the shut off in the crawlspace we observed the meter quit spinning entirely upon further investigation. We discovered a toilet that is constantly running in the master bathroom homeowner was unaware of this as they are not living at the residence at this point because the home is under construction.

Tech arrived to problem call for entire home. System is a zoned system located in upstairs closet servicing entire home. Both thermostats have power and are actively telling the system to come on. Inspected indoor unit. Unit was not running at all. Found zone board LEDs not lit up as intended. Verified zone board has incoming power and outgoing R on thermostats. Zone board is not able to recognize incoming calls from thermostat therefore not running. Found that the zone board does not have a dedicated transformer which more than likely caused failure of the zone board. Jumped out wires to bypass zone board and test system. System did come on inside and out. System only has a float switch in pan and no other safeties. Highly recommended adding wet switch and safety switches along with cleaning indoor cabinet, blower compartment and drain flush. Checked outdoor unit. Unit in full operation, refrigerant pressures within specs. Outdoor capacitor is out of specs at this time. Brought recomm
